I have received quite a few enquiries about the gorgeous Villa Maison chairs seen in the February issue of Australian Home Beautiful. They arrive in Australia in May, so I should have them in stock, mid May.

They are vintage rattan with a beautiful grey hue. Cushion is included.

Measure 99cm in height, from top of chair; 73cm in height from the arms to the floor; 68cm in width, including arms and 53cm in depth.

Oh, and the rattan table, pictured with the chairs in the magazine, is an old model, not available any more.

Libraries With Ladders

I really do think it's about time I had a professional photograph taken of them.

The one of the box has been selling them for close to a year now.

I have loads of my Custom Hampton's lights arriving at my warehouse next Tuesday.

Look at that gorgeous fretwork!

I love it when my customers promise me photos of my lights installed in their homes and then they send them! As well as delight seeing these photos, I must confess I also felt great relief! That Orb is a monster to ship! ....and Cathy, my customer, was overseas at the time of delivery so I was sweet talking the delivery guy into placing it out of sight and out of the weather. Phew! It's safe, it's up and it's damn gorgeous.... even if I say so myself.

And look, Cathy has my Rattan Bar Stools as well! Actually Cathy is what I call a very loyal customer. She has some of my beautiful Etienne French Glass Lights on order and that kitchen of hers will soon have my Hampton's Lights hanging in it!

My lights have been located! Not lost at sea. They will be here in 4 weeks. The delay? They were making my October shipment as well and sending it with this one. Hmm, no-one asked me. No-one told me. I will be emailing you all with the finer details over the next week. Phew!

Have ordered a limited quantity of these. Aren't they divine? There are 3 styles: 'Dijon', 'Lyon' and 'Etienne', available in either clear glass or silver glass. They have a 1.2m drop if required. Can you imagine these hanging above bedsides on either side of a beautiful bed?

Ok, my next shipment of custom Hampton's lights are on their way. They are floating in a container somewhere, due to arrive within the next week or so. Murphy's Law that they are late this time around when so many of you have your electricians poised waiting to install them. I am trying not to bite my nails. I will email you all as soon as they hit our shores.

Chairs: the latest shipment of those gorgeous Villa Maison Vintage Rattan chairs (pictured) has arrived but has all sold out... except for 4. That's 4 left in the whole of Australia. And I have them reserved until the end of TODAY. If you wish them to be yours, email me QUICK! The next shipment is not due, in at Villa Maison, until 1st December!!! Talk about a Vintage Rattan Bar Stool Drought! What are we going to do for 6 months?

I love this boys room. Such a great use of a small space. There's room to chill out near the window seat, built in bookcases everywhere and a cute little homework nook. My boys are in bunks at the moment... and love it.... it's an adventure. Believe it or not, my brothers shared bunks until they finished high school. When there's no room, there is no room... so bunks it was!

Meet my beautiful custom pendant light.... straight from the factory!

I had it made up to resemble the kitchen lights that were in 'The House' (as close as possible and I tell you it's pretty gorgeous in real life).

I have a constant supply of them being made but each delivery does sell out so you have to be quick to reserve them. Currently in stock. (Feb, 2012)

A bit of coastal, from my own home. The little water colour painting is of the harbour in St Ives, Cornwall, England. It was my only purchase on my honeymoon.....14 years ago... something to remember beautiful Cornwall by. Look away now, fainted hearted interior designers - it is framed in an Ikea frame. The coral was a prop, provided by Amanda from Oliveaux on the day of the Home Beautiful shoot. The tray table is from La Maison.... one of my most favourite furniture suppliers in this hemisphere....something similar will be featuring in my new online store.

Be it ever so simple, I love the design details in even the spec homes found up in the Northern Hemisphere... the stone, the panelling, corner finishes!, the windows, even gables... my kingdom for more gables in this town. Hey, you don't get spec homes like that down here in the 'colonies'. Sigh!
